'Modern Motoring and Travel' was the Rootes Group's own motoring magazine.

 

In the 1930s the Rootes magazine was 'Modern Motoring' and there was also a Sunbeam magazine 'Modern Travel'.

 

It was, perhaps, the combination of these two that led to the title 'Modern Motoring and Travel'.
